Is Your Logo a No-Go? Many of you probably have heard me talk about the importance of branding and how a professionally designed logo fits into the overall marketing picture. Some have asked, "What do you mean by a professionally designed logo?" Someone may say, "My girlfriend's sister's brother-in-law has a niece that knows someone who does logo design in her spare time in exchange for Beanie Babies." Now I ask you...is that considered professional? How about this one, "I can go on line and design my own logo for twenty-five bucks, why should I use you?" Where do I start?! For one thing you are limited in the number of images you can use. You pick the industry that best suits yours, again, you are limited on the categories you can choose. Pick a font, etc...you see where I am going. Do you really want to be pigeon-holed into a category that suits them or you? Another thing, in what format do you receive the logo? Can it be converted? There are a lot of other details I could bore you with but let's move on. Sure it may look good on the screen but does it work with other forms of media - your business card, stationery, vehicles, storefront sign, website - to assist you in your overall marketing plan, your brand? What we encourage is service that provides you with the answer to all of your marketing needs. That's what's meant by "professional" design...besides, who needs more Beanie Babies?
